Hair Removal Device, Shaver & Trimmer

I am super impressed by this gadget. I wish I had known of it sooner and saved thousands (literally) in laxer and waxing. The laser seemed to decrease the hair in my belly and everything else came back strong. The waxing and laser both hurt way more then this epilator. It definitely seemed easier to tolerate in the bath when you could dip to remove the excess hair and ease the burn. I had to do more passes then I expected but imagine that is the downfall of the hair being wet, it will stick to your skin and not get caught as easily, totally worth the extra pass to reduce the pain. I also made sure to exfoliated well (with a hammam glove) first since I am fully aware of the potential for ingrown hairs with this type of hair removal.

I love everything about the epilator, you can see how clean it shaved under my arm, it came with a beautiful traveling pink bag for the set. It's very easy to use

Love how it fits in my hand so nice. Had the silk-epil9 for about a year and felt it was time for a upgrade. Silk-epil9 flex is so much nicer. I feel like I have more control with the thinner handle. Doesn’t hurt, if you can wax you can use it.

Ok, So if you're not familiar ...this is pulling the hair out by the root.. same as waxing same as tweezing ( that is the tweezing is done properly) 😮😮😮Why why would you wanna do such a thing to torture yourself???? ... well because if you can get the hair out by the root it has to completely re grow (when you shave it's just sitting right below the surface, waitin to pop out In a few hours)😉 When you take the hair out by the root, you damage the papilla.. if you damage the papilla The hair will grow in finer and slower and eventually some of the hair is not gonna grow back in at all!😃

I have been using an epilator for years. At least 15 years. I've tried many different brands and this is by far the best one I have ever used. I have an old epilady that up until now I could not beat, but this epilator gets out hairs that my other one misses, and it gets them easily and quickly. I mainly use the epilator on my chin and my face because I do not want to shave off the stray hairs, but there were always a few I could not get and I would have to tweeze them. With this Braun epilator I do not have to tweeze one hair! I used the head that they have on when you buy it with the little rollers, and it worked great. Then I tried the one with the small area cut out. I think that's the facial one...for my upper lip. The reason that works better on sensitive facial areas, is that it concentrates on a smaller area so it does not hurt as much. I've never been able to get all the hair off my upper lip and I think since this thing pulls it out so effectively I might finally get there.

This epilator is easily the best model from this brand that I’ve ever used. The flexible head is a game changer creating a more responsive unit that can closely follow the body’s terrain resulting in fewer missed hairs. This model has 40 tweezers instead of 28 which is more common and two speeds—gentle and power mode. Also included are some accessories that help fully utilize the unit like a massage cap which reduces discomfort, a facial cap, exfoliation brush, skin contact cap, cleaning brush and shaver head along with a separate trimmer comb. .One of the pluses of epilating is unlike waxing, it can be used on very short hairs so there is no long growing-out period. In fact hair should be no longer than 3mm or less. Conveniently, if needed the trimmer comb can be attached to the shaver head to cut any long hairs to the maximum allowable height. The unit has an LED light which is helpful but a significant aspect is that the light turns red if the user is pressing too hard against the skin. Although it can be used on clean, dry exfoliated skin I find using an epilator in a warm shower or bath reduces the discomfort. So, the fact that the unit can be used underwater is a positive for my use. And, the first step should be exfoliating the skin and there is an included brush head that can be used for the job. Exfoliating daily after epilating is beneficial to help reduce or avoid ingrown hairs.

Oh, my, goodness! I don't know why I never had one of these before! Ha! Just used it on one leg so far and wow. It's so much better than shaving! I absolutely, cannot stand shaving. I was expecting some excruciating pain, but I wasn't hit with anything like that. I have a high pain tolerance though. There was more pain on my knees, the back of my knees and the back of my thighs more so than anything, but nothing I couldn't handle. The one and only issue I found out so far was the back of my thigh, there was this one spot that sounded strange plus hurt a lot more. It was grabbing my skin and pinching it and it did draw blood. Even if I held my skin taunt it still did it. It hurt and was strange, but otherwise I love this and can't believe I didn't have it in my life sooner! I shaved my legs a week ago and it grows insanely fast. I hope with continued use I won't have so much! Here's to hoping!

I just love this epilator because it is so much more comfortable to hold, and having the flexible head takes all the pressure off my arthritic hands. I still have my original little oval handheld one and it works fine after 20 years of constant use, but i suspect it'll die any any time. The light on it is very bright, having 40 tweezers definitely is a major improvement from 20 on my old model. I used the shaver today & it kicks butt! The body brush is nice but it doesn't have enough power to exfoliate like i thought it would. I am hoping and praying that IF it needs any repairs it will be before the 1 year warranty mark, because these units are very expensive and i sure cannot afford to replace it if it dies.

If you somehow found yourself on this listing… ***This product must be for you!*** I read other reviews that said the same thing and I couldn’t agree more! Has been a complete LIFE changer. I have tried creams, waxing, light therapy, etc. Nothing has had a similar impact and bang for the buck. I am a redhead so I have extremely pale skin and extremely thick and dark hair… Everywhere! Even my waxer was like - oh god a redhead. Welp this isn’t going to be fun. For you. So we have notoriously resilient hair. Waxing left me red, stubbly, and never w clean toned skin.

Updated with a picture! Seriously am still obsessed. I used to be one of those who would opt out of shorts due to shaving issues and ingrown hairs and lack of desire to shave every day, sometimes multiple times a day. This summer is now full of shorts thanks to this gadget. Buy it now. I’ve been dying to type up a review since I got this in October 2020. I’m 35 and can’t help but be all like... Why I didn’t buy this sooner?!? If you struggle with “screw it will just wear pants all year” because shaving lasts, like, a few hours, but always wished for smooth legs without dropping $100 at waxing salon salon every few weeks... and have this $179 investment... this thing has been a GAME changer for me. Will it hurt? Yes. Then no. The first time I was like “WHEWwww” there’s no way it gets easier. It does, after just the 2nd/3rd time. Which makes sense. It only hurts if there’s something to pull out. The first time it’s all the hairs, then with each growth stage and regular use, it’s less hairs and softer hairs. Now even bikini areas and underarms are no problem, like eyebrow plucking and almost like satisfying an itch with deep/even scratches. Bonus: it exfoliates. You don’t need a self-proclaimed super human pain tolerance for this to be true for you too. Just patience at first use and regular use thereafter.
